WEBELOS WE BE Loyal Scouts
Boys in the fourth and fifth grade can be Webelos.
All boys must earn the Bobcat Patch before earning patches and badges as a Webelos.
Webelos is a time for boys to learn to work as a patrol unit and move from depending upon adults to depending upon themselves. They will find more Boy Scout information is being learned which is preparing the Webelos for when they cross over to become Boy Scouts. Webelos will also find more challenges, camping opportunities, and responsibilities than they did in other ranks. Since they are still considered Cub Scouts it offers Webelos the best of two worlds, Cub and Boy Scouting.
